After logging into your SMS Central account, click on the big, green Buy Now on the top right of the screen.
Here, you'll find a list of all our packages. Have a look through the different options and choose the package which best suits your needs. The larger the SMS package, the less the price per SMS will be.
Once you select a package, you can choose if you want to have your account automatically topped up when your balance goes below a certain threshold, if you only want an email sent when your credit is low, or none of the above.
Finally, scroll down to Billing details, enter your credit card details and make sure you have the correct Billing Contact.
Once you are done click on Confirm Payment.
Your account will automatically be credited and you will receive an email with the purchase transaction confirmation and details!
Credit Expiry
SMS credits have an expiry of 3 months after the date of purchase. This means that from the day you purchase credit, your credits will be valid for the remaining 3 months.
Every time you purchase credit, your full balance expiry date moves to the new date, 3 months from that last purchase.
Example
On 15 May 2013 you purchase 125 SMS. These SMS will expire on 15 August 2013.
On 27 May 2013 you send 25 SMS, so your remaining balance is 100 SMS.
On 10 August 2013, you purchase another 125 SMS. Then your total balance (100 + 125 = 225) will expire on 10 November 2013.
So remember, if you see your balance expiry date is approaching simply top up your account so your full SMS balance is valid for another 3 months!
For customers with SMS balance prior to 1 May 2013
This balance will not have an expiry date until you purchase credit again, in which case its expiry date will be the purchase date + 3 months.
